Global Agnikarma Centre had organized 2nd National Seminar and Workshop on “AGNIKARMA – Ayurveda Pain Management” at Ahmedabad Management Association on 28th February 2016.
Around 400 participants including Vaidyas, Ayurvedic Students and Allopathic Doctors attended the seminar and workshop.
Some of them came from different parts of India including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab.
In the beginning morning session Eminent Physicians in their respective fields shared their expertise on pain management and Agnikarma.
Dr. Camillus Power, Ex. Dean of Faculty of Pain Medicine, Dublin, Ireland shared his expert views on Modern Perspective and Agnikarma and enlighten the underneath possible scientific mechanism of Agnikarma. He also talked about the latest approach of research in pain medicine.
The chief guest Eminent Senior Neurologist Dr. Sudhir Shah talked about the art of practicing medicine and expressed his respect towards Ayurveda.
Dr. Nicolaos Kostopoulos, Director of Holistic Health Centre, Greece addressed the audience live via video conferencing from Greece and expressed his views on Holistic approach of pain management.
Vaidya Asvin Barot, Eminent Ayurveda Consultant from London, UK, in his encouraging and enthusiastic way sparked the students and young vaidyas to learn and practice Ayurveda and made them believe how scientific the Ancient wisdom of Ayurveda is.
The participants from Introductory Agnikarma Training Course and Advance Agnikarma Training Course were awarded their certificates.
In the afternoon session, the patients who have been treated with Agnikarma shared their experiences on how Agnikarma had made their lives positively changed.
A live demonstration of Agnikarma Procedure had been shown. The audience got fascinated by the effectiveness of Agnikarma treatment.
The event got tremendous success. This was the 2nd Scientific Seminar on this Subject of Agnikarma and Pain Management.
