Global Agnikarma Centre had organized the 3rd National Seminar and Workshop on “AGNIKARMA – Ayurveda Pain Management” at Ahmedabad Management Associatioan, Ahmedabad on Sunday, 29th January 2017.
Around 360 participants coming from Gujarat, Maharastra, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi attended the event.
The morning session started with the lectures from international dignitaries.
Dr. Nikolaos Kostopoulos, The director of Holistic Health Centre, Greece, explored the basic principles of Ayurveda and Agnikarma (Thermal Cautery) in a scientific way. The Audience got fascinated with his deep knowledge of Ayurveda and modern medicine.
The Chief Guest Dr. K R Desai (Director, Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy, Gujarat) and Guest of Honour Dr. Sanjeev Rastogi (Ex. Director, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi) appreciated the scientific application of Agnikarma treatment by Global Agnikarma Centre and encouraged vaidyas to be more interested in Ayurveda.
Dr. Camillus Power, Ex. Dean of Faculty of pain medicine, Dublin, Ireland, shared his expertise on the recent advances in the field of pain management and possible scientific mechanism of Agnikarma (Thermal Cautery).
Dr. Eleni Papageorgiou, The director of the neurology clinic at General Hospital, Athens, Greece, talked about the current scenario of migraine and the possible role of Agnikarma (Thermal Cautery) in the migraine management.
Vaidya Asvin Barot, Eminent Ayurveda Consultant from London, Uk, encouraged young vaidyas and students in his enthusiastic way and provoked them to learn and practice Ayurveda and Agnikarma.
In the afternoon session, Vaidyas trained in Agnikarma Training Course at Global Agnikarma Centre shared their experiences about Agnikarma in their practice. The participants from the recent Agnikarma Training Course were awarded their certificates.
In the patients’ experience session, the patients who had been treated with Agnikarma shared their experiences how Agnikarma treatment helped them recover from painful lives.
A live demonstration of Agnikarma procedure had been shown. The audience was fascinated by the effectiveness of Agnikarma treatment.
This was the 3rd National Seminar by Global Agnikarma Centre on this subject of Agnikarma – Ayurveda Pain Management and it has received tremendous success.
